About Joni Chapman, CFMP, DACM, LAc
Dr. Joni Chapman, DACM, LAc, CFMP has a background in nursing, elder care, and emergency medicine. In 2019 Joni founded Holistic Staffing Professional, Inc a 501(C)3 nonprofit focusing on elder safety. In 2020 she received her Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA. Having worked as a registered nurse prior to her doctoral program, she was able to excel through the program and also obtained a certification in functional medicine, micro-needling, and Cosmetic Acupuncture.
After graduating, Joni found her way to Maryland and practiced as a successful acupuncturist specializing in pain management, digestive disorders, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS), and neurological conditions.
Joni is now practicing at Bliss & Zen Acupuncture Health and Wellness, LLC in San Diego helping those in need.
Joni is a highly motivated practitioner with specialized experience in pain management, orthopedic wellness, elder care, connective tissue, and digestive disorders, with an emphasis on patient education.
When away from the clinic, Joni is passionate about researching ways she can better help her patients. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, being active, and exploring.
