Dr. Vinay Madan is an expert in the treatment of varicose veins, having preformed thousands of minimally invasive procedures including endovenous laser ablation (ELA), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), venaseal and foam sclerotherapy. Dr. Madan has multiple board certifications including Vascular and Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Radiology and Phlebology. Dr. Madan has most recently cared for thousands of varicose vein patients as the Head of Phlebology at the Fairfield and Wilton clinics for Vein Clinics of America.

Dr. Madan received his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center in New York City. He went on to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology and then a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York.

He subsequently gained invaluable experience in his roles as Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Chief of Vascular Ultrasound at Eastern Connecticut Imaging in Manchester, Connecticut. He went on to become Vice Chairman and Chairman of Radiology at Eastern Connecticut Imaging. He also served as Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology and Assistant Director of Medical Imaging at Sharon Regional Health System in Sharon, Pennsylvania.

He is an active member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society and the American Board of Venous & Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Madan has extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose vein disease and related disorders.

Dr. Madan’s wide-ranging experience and training as a Vascular Interventional Radiologist allows him to provide the latest vascular treatments for patients with cosmetic and medical venous disease.
