About Orthopaedic and Spine Center of New Jersey
Dr. McCracken has developed a caring and holistic approach in treating his patients. At the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of New Jersey, we believe surgery should always be the last resort. The practitioners strive to assist the patient in the management of their spinal pain/disorder with an emphasis on restoring function in a caring, empathetic manner. If surgery is necessary, we will do the best job possible and “take great care of our patients.”
As Anabela Antunes of our staff relates, the staff takes great pride in what distinguishes us. As one patient put it, he expressed thanks for “putting everything together to try to figure out what’s going on.”
“The goal is always to get the patient better the best way possible,” says Dr. McCracken. “The most difficult task for me is to know not just whether to do surgery, but if surgery is the best option, and at what point is the best time to do it. You don’t want to put a nail into a wall with a sledgehammer. You want to use the most minimal approach possible for the most maximal results.”
What also truly distinguishes Dr. McCracken’s practice is his phenomenally knowledgeable, efficient and committed staff. Each staff member is adept at understanding Dr. McCracken’s practice approach and acts as an agent of that special philosophy and expertise. It is one that makes every patient feel expertly cared for—both physically and emotionally—from the first moment of his or her visit.
