About Cierra P. Walling, BCBA

Howdy, I’m Cierra! I’m from Phoenix, Arizona and I am the founder of New Beginnings Behavior Services (NBBS). I started NBBS because I have a strong passion for empowering and engaging families and youth to build on their strengths, foster personal growth, and evoke behavior change. I started out in the behavioral health sector working alongside marriage and family therapists and licensed professional counselors before I entered the applied behavior analysis field and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I received my Bachelor of Science in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University and my Masters of Education in Education Foundation from Northern Arizona University. In my journey, I have reached a point where I can effectively instill my values and ambition to support caregivers, educators, and youth. I moved to Henderson, Nevada in March 2021 and enjoy escaping the heat to go hiking with my beloved dog. I love jazz music, traveling, snowboarding, and adventuring to national parks.

Behavior Technician

The behavior technician is a paraprofessional who practices under the close, ongoing supervision of a behavior analyst or assistant behavior analyst certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board and/or credentialed by a state (such as through licensure). The behavior technician is primarily responsible for the implementation of components of behavior-analytic treatment plans developed by the supervisor.
