About Ryan McWhorter, MD
After establishing myself as a family care physician, I lost my father figure to heart disease. He was too young to be taken, and little else has affected my career so much. I thought what many of my patients think: There's got to be something better.
Medicine is advancing quickly, and now I'm happy to say there is something better, and my practice will help you find it. There's no reason that a man in his early sixties dies of a heart attack in 2013, this is something we can find early and prevent. We can know about tragedies like the one that happened in my family and in so many other families, and now we can stop them before they happen.
My focus on prevention and treatment of preventable health problems is serious, and it's personal. Medicine is something I truly love, and something I'm passionate about pursuing in all its forms, whether or not they are sanctioned by the insurance industry. I'm all about getting you and your family the best care, and about finding health problems before they are obvious. When we know about the battle ahead of time, we can work together to make sure you win the fight
