Dalal Akoury, MD has dedicated her career to identifying and addressing the root causes of chronic illness through a groundbreaking whole-systems medicine approach known as Functional, Integrative, Sexual, Cellular and Metabolic Medicine. She is a nationally and internationally recognized leader in his field. Through her private practice, education efforts, writing, research, advocacy and public work, she strives to improve access to Functional, Regenerative, Sexual, Metabolic, and Cellular Medicine, and to widen the understanding and practice of it, empowering others to stop managing symptoms and instead treat the underlying causes of illness, thereby also tackling our chronic-disease epidemic.
Dr. Akoury is founder and Medical Director of The AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center, where she directs a team of coaches, nutritionists and nurses who utilize a comprehensive approach to health. Dr. Dalal Akoury practices, Cellular, Anti-Aging, Functional, Regenerative, Sexual, Cellular and Metabolic Medicine. Her practice Concentrates on Women Health and Rejuvenation, Integrative treatment, Healthy Aging, Age Management and lifestyle medicine, focusing on customized Facial rejuvenation, nutrition and fitness programs. She is Fellowship trained and certified in Anti-Aging, Regenerative, Metabolic and Functional Medicine, and has more than twenty years of accumulated experience in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and a master’s degree in public health. Over the past 3 years, Dr. Akoury has focused strictly on stress and its effect on aging and sexuality. Dr. Dalal Akoury is a Seasoned Media and Community Public Speaker. She is knowledgeable on obesity, fitness, and nutrition, and Sexual Medecine.
